Watch this video taken during Darna taping in Paradise Village with co-stars Allysa Alano and Tery Aunor. The two played Babaeng Tuod’s (Francine Prieto) sidekicks in the Darna series.

Looks like fun eh? It’s nice to see the cast enjoying their work and each other’s company. Viva La Darna!!

I noticed something in Darna’s outfit….they have expanded the lower piece to provide more cover to her body and be more suitable to the general patronage viewing public. Perhaps it was Marian herself who requested it to be altered or changed in order to giver her body enough protection when she’s doing her rigorous flying and swinging stunts.

Criselda, actually, Marian wears a different bottom when doing her lift and flying scenes to cover the harness. Then she wears the bikini bottom when doing ground and fighitng scenes

just try to imagine if its rhian’s playing the darna & wearing that costume, ya she has the height but not the body. boobless, buttless,….im sure the bikini & bra will just fall.

Did she not say, she would have been hesitant to play Darna and Dyesebel? At least, she knows her limitation in that respect. She’s got a very masculine body. Deretso ang katawan, parang aparador, that’s why in STH, she either camouflage her not-so-attractive frame with either a vest or a scarf. Sana, if GMA was really bent on building her up to be a star, they should have instead deverted their attention to sending her further to acting workshops to hone her acting and at the same time, hired a body sculpting expert to improve or change the contour of her body. Kaya hindi siya puwedeng tumabi kay Marian, baka mapagkamalan siyang boxing trainer. That’s why her role as Pacman’s trainer in SMDM fits her very well.
