It’s Marian Rivera TV Fever this weekend, December 12th to 13th. Marian will be part of Eat Bulaga’s opening production number on Saturday, December 12th. Then Darna Book 2 will be launch the following day, December 13th, Sunday on SOP Fully Charged.

Eat Bulaga has the best production numbers on TV especially on Saturdays so I’m looking forward to watching Marian there. PLUS, EB’s theme on Saturday is the EB Heroes so Darna being on the show is much apropos for the show’s theme.

As for SOP Fully Charged, we all know that SOP’s studio is filled to the rim every time Marian (& Dong) is a guest. The current state of reformatted SOP needs the power of Marian Rivera. As always. Cross your fingers that they’ll let Marian dance again. Hopefully hip-hop. Maybe we’ll finally see Ms. Regine Velasquez wearing her Elektra costume too, yah? Hope so .

So if you are fan in the Philippines, go see Marian on both shows. Or watch her on TV, like us here outside ‘Pinas. I’ll be staying up ‘till 1:30am (Saturday) to watch Eat Bulaga that’s for sure. I don’t think I’ll be able to wait until 3pm to see Marian perform on Eat Bulaga.

Marian’s appearance on SOP this coming Sunday will surely boost its slip in the ratings and might even push it up to where it used to be on the chart. Last week’s ratings made the staff and management worried and be on their toes with the not-so impressive farewell performance of STH cast. I read one comment from a fan who was there at the Skydome telling about the lukewarm (or cold) reception of the audience on RR, with only very few people applauding for her.
According to this fan, the people were very very happy with the appearance of DD, Glaiza, TJ, and the rest of the cast with the exception of RR.

sya lang kasi ang nagpapataas ng ratings. lam naman ng gma un kaya di nila pinapakawalan si marian rivera..
at tingnan nyo laging puno ang studio ng sop pag sya at ang daming pumapalakpak di tulad ng iba dyan ang silence my god ang fans ang unti.. wala pang sumisigaw pero kay yan yan ang dami my lundag effect pa yan..
sikat talaga sya.. and mabait grabeg ang ganda pa! love it…

I just hope they don’t put her in that “One time only” segment. The same segment where Alkris made an ass out of themselves last Sunday.
