Full House – FALL House? – FAIL House?

Full House Pinoy Remake premiered on November 30th, Monday. A lot of people expected it to do good. I mean it’s from Richard Gutierrez, supposedly the Primetime King even though his last show Zorro didn’t generate that high in the ratings game.

I have no problem with Richard Gutierrez although he would surely benefit in having a a couple slices of HUMBLE Pie and definitely learn the essence of “responsibility. It was NEVER the coconut tree’s fault. *Ahem* . As for Heart Evangelista, I like her. I adore her fashion sense and she could act too. She was one of my picks for Stairway To Heaven but that’s neither here nor there.

I’m not familiar with all this Korean shows being remade into Pinoy versions but apparently, Full House is about an action star named Justin (Richard Gutierrez) who wanted some peace and quiet lifestyle. To do that, he found a house owned by Jessie (Heart Evangelista). Jessie’s brother Donald, played by Raniel Castillo sold Jessie’s house to Justin while Jessie was in Prague for a vacation. When Jessie gets back, she has a housemate? And that’s when trouble ensues. I guess.

I live in the US, watching the show would not influence the ratings in the Philippines at all so I’ll be able to watch it without feeling shitty about myself. No offense to Heart of course. Coz like I said, I like her. This weekend though, some hired (I’m assuming) promoter went all around the Pinoy Exchange forums to promote Full House. That’s all fine and dandy. That promoter whose username I won’t divulge coz I have a feeling Annabelle Rama would fire his/her ass in an instant once she finds out what kind of promoter she just hired. But we’ll call the person “Stoop” short for stupid. So Stoop ended up at Marian Rivera’s thread as well as the DongYanatics thread. Instead of just posting the show’s logo and thanking the people there for the space Stoop was borrowing, Stoop had the nerve to insult Marian Rivera and calling her all sorts of names, and disrespecting the fans who frequent both threads. Stoop was cussing at people left and right. Stoop was also arrogant about the “Primetime King’s and Queen’s Arrival” on Telebabad. Stoop counted the eggs before it hatched, so to speak. On Richard’s part, he couldn’t say Full House is aired after Stairway To Heaven. Heart, to her credit, was the one inserting that fact in her own promos.

December 1st, the ratings from November 30th came out. Full House’s premiere episode garnered 24.5 through AGB Ratings, and 28.3 from TNS Mega. Those are very low numbers compare to the top shows namely Darna, Stairway To Heaven, Ikaw Sana, all from GMA 7, and the top shows of ABS-CBN.

The ratings for December 1st episode, that’s 2nd day states, 24.2 from AGB and 26.3 from TNS Mega. Those are even lower numbers from the debut show.

A little piece of advice when promoting a show, try to be nice, be humble, and if you have to kiss ass, then do so because that’s what promoters do. Don’t be rude and certainly don’t cuss the fans of the celebrities who pretty much owns the thread of the space you are borrowing from. Be supportive of the shows that are aired before you. Would it have killed GMA 7 and Richard Gutierrez to say : “We’re after Marian Rivera in Darna, then Dingdong Dantes in Stairway To Heaven. You’ll get action and fantasy from Darna, drama from STH, then rom-com from Full House”? But nooooooooooo. They created their own animosity in their own backyard because each executives have their favorites (or bullied) and want to top each other all the time, they’ve alienated and pissed off the fans who feel insulted by their cheap gimmicks.

It’s going to take more that 10 lechons to feed the Press this Christmas to promote Full House coz in the end, it’s the viewers who will make a bigger impact. And if they don’t like it, they don’t freaking like it. Oh BTW RG Camp, saying Heart was getting jealous over a girl in Prague is not going to help the show. Pleazzze.

The original version I watched it from the day one it started until the last day it was finished,the orig. is more reserve and serious the comedy of it just happen not intension of the actors to portray the good materials,it was funny yes because the Filipino dubber is funny also it fits to the character they played the quality of voice over is very good ,you know what I mean it turned into success because this people you feel they are the actor who is playing the role,the passion is there you can feel it.And take note on original version there is no gay messing around if theres any I remembered its more reserved and you respect their character.

Well its time for Richard to attend workshop his pros and cons cementing he is only good in action fantaserye,his acting is so bland and it is very obvious he cannot hide nor deny it, anymore.May kasabihan pag inalat ka alat talaga.When it rains it pours it looks some good things not coming on his way.My advise for him Aling Nene on the corner street of Forbes Park sell humble pie if he have five peso in his pocket he should buy one slice now.

sinabi mo pa..actually tingin ko naman kung bakit ganun ang nangyari sa fallhouse is a result of the combination of many things that happened before it was even being formulated…sort of like karma ang nangyari sa fallhouse..why?..read on..

all dy fans were clamoring to give fh to dy’s sana coz we really think it would be a perfect change for dys kasi romcom at saka bagay din sa kanila….dahil sa inggit at greed siguro sa camp ni rg ay binigay nalang sa kanya..maybe they are trying to emulate dong’s success in korean novelas by giving fh to rg….

2nd, heart was being borrowed for sth sana as LL but rama stubbornly refused to give her to dong as LL..rama & her camp in gma were saying kasi sa fh na daw si heart… pero it was obvious they have other ulterior motives…they want to further give rr’s career another push, this time through the current man of the hour of gma na si dd nga…at the same time para hindi pagbigyan si dd of having a worthy LL..

resulta…rama & her execs’ plans backfired on them…both sth LL & fh were a failure…buti nalang si dong ay maraming supporters both sa camp nya at ni marian & combination nila as dys kaya naging okay ang result ng sth…pero hindi pa rin nakalibre si dong sa panlalait kasi ang sth success ngayon ay kini-claim na ng LL..what pathetic girl..

speaking of rg..wala naman sanang personal issue between rg & dd…kaya lang obvious na sa attitude ni rg lately that he is being brainwashed by his mom & her execs sa gma….GREED & ENVY is so apparent sa attitude & actions ng camp ni rama & her execs…

there are 2 feuding powers kasi sa gma eh…wilma G’s camp against rama’s camp with her execs in the likes of abrogar & her cohorts..sa camp ni rama & her execs, they have rama’s top talents like rg, rr, he…sa camp ni wg, she only have dd & mr..rama’s camp may think they can bully dong & yan…look back at what they did..they gave sth an inferior LL & they shut mr to silence & barraged her with all sorts of nega issues during the whole sth period…siguro dilemma kay dd at wg ang sth….sth was a good acting vehicle for dong but rama’s camp tried to stop its success by not giving in to direk joyce’s personal choice of a good LL…it was also dong’s soap but he has to go along rr’s camp of promo style…kumbaga sabi ni DD recently, ngayong matatapos na ang sth, it was beyond his control who was dumped on him as LL sa sth…

anyhoo, water under the bridge na nga ang mga issues na ito sa sth..but fallhouse is now reaping the negative impact of what rama & her execs has done to dd & mr…nag backfire din sa kanila ang evil motives nila in terms of timeslots…for sure the timeslots battle bet. sth & fh was just bet. rama & her execs..kasi nga naman rr is in sth, while rg is in fh..it’s like henares/abrogar against rama/abrogar..o di sila lang din ang nagsisisihan ngayon sa failure ng fh..

I am willing to bet that no matter how loooooow Poor house will rate, nobody and I mean nobody from the press would dare write about it. Takot lang nila kay bisaya. If they do that, they can say “Sayonara” to their Christmas gifts or what I prefer to call as “pampadulas”.

Jessie (portrayed by heart) is an only child in orig version. Bakit may kapatid na sya dito? At saka ang pakomedi nila ay OA. hindi flowing ang story parang may tinik, actually isang picture lang ang pinanood ko, ng magcommercial ayaw ko na. hanggang ngayon hindi pa ako nauuntog na manood ulit switch ko na lang sa Crime Investigation TV after STH may thrill pa.

I will not watch it ,no to Richard and Heart. Marian is the only reason why I’m still keeping my GMA Pinoy tv.If ever mag retire siya back to my normal US programs.

The effort of GMA to link RG and Heart for the sake of promoting Full House is of no help. Heart right from the start said that that they don’t have to be linked in order hype the show–she even laughed when someone asked if there’s a chance that she and RG would eventually be an item by saying, “naku, baka me magalit,” which obviously, she was referring to Jewel Misch, RG’s gf. I really admire Heart for knowing where she stands. Alam niya kung saan lulugar. She has such a sense of propriety in not taking advantage of getting into an “unfamiliar territory.” Lalo niya akong napahanga–she’s one Kapuso star that I like aside from Marian. On CM, I can really feel na very scripted iyong Don’t Lie To Me portion. Tawa lang nang tawa si Heart don sa mga questions regarding that selosan daw that took place in Cscheck Republic. Well, Rhian is the complete opposite of Heart. While they’re both single, they have different demeanors when linked with their leading men. Heart knows what to say, but Rhian doesn’t. There would not have been any issues against her if she was prim and proper enough to deal with the media hype linking her to DD during the course of STH promo. Her flirty efforts did not pay dividends at all in terms of her getting an increase in fan following with all these special treatment and high stakes put up by GMA in order to make her a big star. Parang wala lang, ganon pa rin ang status niya.

This is a big wake-up call for GMA! They should now support Darna like there’s no tomorrow because there is no doubt they’re going to continue to depend on Marian to battle it out in the ratings game. Who can they count on aside from Yan? Nobody!!!! It is now very clear that RG’s star no longer shines and the rest of their talents do not have the following that Marian and Dongyan have. GMA needs a huge clean up! Get rid of good for nothing executives! If this happened here in North America, heads would have rolled a long time ago!

Hope what happened to Full House will be a wake up call for Ms. Rama and start admitting that Dingdong Dantes has overshadowed her son. Actually Richard is no match to Dingdong. The latter proved to be a better person, unlike the former who is always involved in scandals. It’s time to reap what you sow Ms. Rama.
