Marian Rivera Is Excited About Her Christmas 2009
Darna had a Press conference today in conjunction with it’s Book 2 and the introduction of the new villains. Of course, the press focused a lot on Marian’s relationship with Dingdong Dantes. If Dong was all game to share with the press his 3 waves of gifts he’s got prepared for Marian this coming Christmas, Marian is all “kilig” from all the hints and teasers she got from the Press.
HALOS maningkit ang mga mata ni Marian Rivera sa sobrang kilig dahil sa kuwento ng press sa mga sorpresang gagawin sa kanya ng boyfriend niyang si Dingdong Dantes ngayong Pasko.
“Excited talaga ako! Ayyyy!” tumitiling reaksiyon ni Marian.
Hindi pa raw alam ni Marian kung ano ang mga sorpresa ni Dong sa kanya ngayong Pasko. Pero siya raw ay nag-iisip na ng espesyal na regalo para sa binata.
Sa tatlong regalo ni Dingdong kay Marian, may idea na raw siya sa isang regalo.
“Pero, hindi ako sure, ha. Ang tingin ko, `yung parang sculpture ba ‘yon? (from Rey Pumaloy of Abante)
Hindi niya sure kung ‘yun nga, pero malamang sculpture daw ito. Nabanggit niya raw kasi minsan sa binata na gusto niyang magpagawa ng sculpture ng sariling itsura niya kung ano ang itsura niya sa apat niyang shows — Marimar, Dyesebel, Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang at Darna.
“Apat ‘yon. Sabi niya, ‘Huwag ka na lang maingay diyan.’ Sabi ko, ‘Bakit ba? Gusto kong magpagawa, eh!’ Sabi niya, ‘Basta, maghintay ka na lang.’
“So, isa ‘yon sa naiisip ko na baka ‘yun ang ibigay niya sa akin,” masayang bulalas ni Marian.
Gaano siya ka-excited sa darating na Pasko?
“Super-excited! Mas excited ako, hindi lang sa gift niya, eh. Mas excited ako na magkasama kaming dalawa sa Pasko!” (from Allan Diones of Abante-Tonight)
Doon sa lugar na pupuntahan nilang dalawa na maglo-long drive si Dong ay may nasabi rin daw siya rito minsan na isang lugar na hindi niya pa napupuntahan. Secret na lang daw kung saan ‘yon.
Type niya rin ba ‘yung naglo-long drive sila na gano’n?
“Oo. Minsan, ganu’n lang talaga ‘yung trip namin, eh. Kakain kami, magda-drive-drive lang siya. Ganu’n.”
Second Christmas na nila ni Dingdong ngayong taon as a couple. Pero bakit nga ba niya nasabing kakaiba this time?
"E, kasi dati, parang wala lang… parang enjoy. Bilang ngayon na inaamin ko sa buong tao, buong Pilipino, na si Dingdong ang pinakaimportanteng lalaki sa buhay ko, aminado ako dun," saad ng aktres.
How would she compare this year since last Christmas ay magkasama na rin sila?
"Siguro, sabihin na lang natin na habang tumatagal ang taon at nagki-Christmas every year, e, mas tumitindi ang saya ko. Mas dumarami siya. Mas dumarami ang blessing."
Ano ba ang plano niya this Christmas?
"Ang balak ko po talaga, siyempre mag-Christmas sa bahay kasama ang lola ko, pati ang mama ko. If ever sa hapon, kung pumunta siya [Dingdong], pupunta kami kung saan puwede." (from Rose Garcia of PEP)
If it’s possible to overdose on DongYan love, I’m guessing everyone is having major doses of it now…

This is the very reason why a lot of people are so attracted to Dongyan loveteam. They are the epitome of what true love can do to a person. Napaka-positive ng vibes nina Dong & Yan. Their own happiness just rubs off on all of us. Hoping & praying that this is one love story that will culminate in a grand wedding in front of us all.

Finally, after a long while, there goes a PEP interview with Marian as well as some in print. I’m sure these long-awaited interviews brought so much joy and excitement from her millions of fans. She was silenced when the promo for STH started in order to give way to the DD-RR loveteam and also promote RR’s popularity at Marian’s expense–because GMA is not confident enough with RR’s bankability without using MR’s star power to give its promo a much needed boost. Marian did so with grace and stability with all the barrage of bad publicities against her surrounding the promotion of STH–it’s all because of her love for DD. She deserves all the praise for being able to stand up to this test. Kaya naman lalo siyang minamahal ni Batman, and of course, her millions of fans.
Without hemming and hawing, she once again answered questions in the interview directly that brought so much kilig and happiness to us. It looks like a lot of us got our guess on the second gift right, which is a piece of sculpture of Marimar, Dyesebel, Proserfina, and Darna, but we have to wait till MR herself discloses it after Christmas.

i couldn’t agree more with you criselda..lalo akong pinahanga ni marian and loved her even more for the strength at patience she showed for the past 3-4 months while sth was running and still running..she held her peace, has kept quiet & seems to go along gma’s promo style, even risking her & dd’s relationship & the reactions of their fans..all these shows how her mind works..she has dealt with it with intelligence and professionalism..di ba sabi nya mismo na habang tumatagal sya sa showbiz ay nag-mamature sya..everything that’s happening to her she charged as learning experiences..she did not finished psychology for nothing..she was & still is putting to good use what she has learned from psychology..especially in showbiz..siguro she treats showbiz with all its intrigues, pretensions, lies, maliciousness as an extension of her clinical experience when she was still studying..showbiz is indeed a very good albeit very difficult training ground for her to hone her as a psychologist and as a well-rounded person..she gets to meet & experience EVERYTHING- professionally, pschologically, emotionally, physically, spiritually..showbiz is so rich with all kind of experiences to test her and dd on how well they could cope as individuals & as a couple..para bang ang showbiz is like the proverbial “other woman” at mas malala pa that comes as a real test to a couple’s loyalty, love & trust..

yeah, i agree with all of you. Marian is very lucky indeed. with just a starter in showbiz, she managed to emerge a winner maybe because she is close to God. Sana she will keep up the good work and always look to God for help and strength and cling to her family first before anyone else. Although, the joy that love can bring is immeasurable. Go, go Marian! Just a reminder, though: love your first then love your soulmate. Walang kasiguraduhan kung magkakatuluyan kau ni dong, kaya just enjoy while it last. At sana lng, keep your sanctity as with it intact, no guy can laugh at you when you go out of a relationship.
