Here are a few pictures of Angel Locsin at the 2009 International Emmy Awards. She didn’t win but I’m sure being part of the International award scene is a recognition in itself. More pictures after the fold..
Angel’s gown looks great. It was made by Filipino designer Michael Cinco. As you can see, it looks heavy coz of the Swarovski accents and the tulle which looks like feather-ish train. I didn’t like the gold medal on her neck though. Angel did great by not wearing any jewelry on her neck but the Emmy’s ruined it with the damn necklace. Did they really have to wear it? Couldn’t they have just handed it in a box? Oh well… My boyfriend *ahem* Ed Westwick aka Chuck Bass was there so I wonder if Angel met him. ROWR! 
Angel must have shed off some weight for this big event. Being nominated alone is a feat in itself. Since she and Marian have hit it off well through Shop n Share, I hope they will develop and nurture their friendship—as it’s not hard for two Darnas to fly together though they take off from different grounds. Showbiz is such a small but complicated world, but it’s a welcome and delightful sight when celebrities gravitate toward each other with all the intrigues hounding them notwithstanding.
Exactly Criselda. I’m not a HUGE fan of Angel but I’m glad she and Marian have some kind of communication. Showbiz is such a small world. And I think both Marian and Angel just want peace. There really is no problem between them. It’s just some fans and a few press who like to egg it on.

Love the gown, but it looks to me like she’s bulging, so medyo not flattering.. Or maybe it’s bcoz i don’t like her that much. My heart only belongs to MR, everyone else are just far behind.

Just because other fans like other celebs too doesn’t mean they love Marian any less. Just because we talk about other celebs here doesn’t mean we love Marian any less either. We’re called Filipinas In Showbiz after all. But don’t worry, Marian is the Queen here 
I don’t know but i really have lost my respect for this girl. I know she should be lauded for helping out Ondoy victims but at the back of my mind is a nagging question-what’s in “it” for her? Maybe sobrang dissapointed ako sa ginawa niya sa GMA that i have totally lost trust in her.
Anyway, the gown looks nice, it reminds me of Bjork’s gown a few years ago, you know, with the swan head hanging in her gown. I’m really sorry…
Reese, I think Michael Cinco actually had a “wolf” in mind since Lobo was a about a wolf, right?
In any case, I’m not into network wars and after seeing how GMA 7 treat their talents, and how they make and break them, then considering the kind of shows they make, I sorta don’t blame Angel for leaving. She and her Manager could’ve done it amicably of course but that’s neither here or there now.
