DARNA Is #1 In Cholo’s Heart

Remember that “♥ Ni Cholo Para Lang Kay DARNA” banner during the Stairway To Heaven launch on SOP last September? Well if it isn’t any obvious, the banner is true. Props to the Fan who made it. In Your Face, heh. Anyhoo, Dingdong Dantes echoed that clever banner in an interview with Nitz Mirrales of Philstar.com.
Stairway To Heaven gained the top spot on the ratings for 3 days, but Darna is back to it’s rightful place. Nevertheless, Congratulations Dingdong, Glaiza, Jean (yes even her), Sandy, TJ, and the guy who plays TJ’s Dad. They’re the reason why the show is good. Plus Direk Joyce and surprisingly, the writers too. We don’t care what the 60 fans of RR say, STH is successful because of the aforementioned reason, the promos and the DongYan fans who are supportive of Dong and Yan on their separate projects. We got worried that STH took the spot for 3 days only because we don’t want RR to think she’s the reason. She’s not. However, were also happy for Dingdong Dantes because he needed that boost. This is his soap opera and he needs to prove to his critics that he can carry one without Marian Rivera. Marian can carry one with no problem at all. But after 3 successful soaps with both of them, Dingdong had to reaffirm his spot. Know what I mean?
Anyhoooo, Darna is back on top and I’m sure Dong is happy about that for Marian too. This is what he told Nitz :
Going strong ang relasyon nina Dingdong at Marian at nakatulong ang trip nila sa Malaysia, Singapore at Hong Kong. Sa tanong kung nagkakakantiyawan sila dahil ilang gabi ng mas mataas ang rating ng Stairway to Heaven sa Darna ni Marian, hindi ang sagot nito.
“Gusto kong linawin na hindi ka-compete ang Darna sa akin dahil for me, si Darna ay number one sa puso ko. ’Pag magkasama kami, ’di namin pinag-uusapan ang trabaho,” sabi ng aktor. (Source)
There you go. Congratulations to both Marian and Dingdong for being the Primetime Queen and King.

To those who are still in denial, this is for you. Yes, this is the confirmation of what the fans said in their banner raised up during the promo of STH. Thank you Dong. There is no doubt how much you “LOVE” Marian. Will pray for both of you for always!!!
Time and again Marian and Dingdong have reaffirmed their commitment to support one another’s individual undertaking and anything that will bring success to their career, separately or as a loveteam. Their relationship has been put to the test by their separation with so much hypes drummed up by GMA to promote the DD-RR tandem, but all the more it has driven them closer to each other and has further kept the flame of their love aglow regardless of the circumstances.
Nitz Miralles has also written in another paper that DD already has a Christmas gift prepared for Marian, which according to him “it is the best Christmas gift.” I’m sure this will keep their fans guessing what it will be. Hindi kaya marriage proposal na ito? Abangan!!!
Very well said Dingdong and I can see that you’re really into Marian deeply which drives me crazy kasi Dongyan has a mysterious magic that I cannot explain..its something like i am overwhelmed by awe when you two candidly make kulitan without the showbiz wrap which is the commonest thing in Philippine showbiz. Dongyan forever!!!!

If it turns out that DD’s surprise Christmas gift for Marian will be her beloved father to be flown in by him (the future son-in-law), then his queen of queens would be in for the biggest surprise of her life. And at the same time, it might be the right opportunity for him to ask MR’s dad’s blessing for this big event that may take place……wow I’m going too far! In fairness, malay natin, anything is possible, isn’t it?
Yeah, it could be a Chanel or another LV… or another jewelry…
What’s good about Marian is that whatever it is, she’ll love and appreciate it wholeheartedly.
