And so it was a night full of beefcakes = the kind that would get the temperatures rising again despite the stormy cold weather and that jacket that you brought along when you decided to give it a try. I’m referring to Inside Showbiz’s Stud Party held last August 16, 2012 at Excess Bar in Quezon Ave, Quezon City. It’s a good way to officially launch the poll that would finally decide who among today’s hottest young male stars are at the top of the pecking order in this food chain we call showbusiness and who should be at the bottom low enough for them to fight for crumbs or whatever that is left of dinner, so to speak.
Call time was 8pm. Good thing I was able to make it in time, thanks to my contact, Ms. Andrea Bootan of the One Mega Group. The event was hosted by Monster Radio’s Karen Bordador. I must say good choice since whenever I get to listen to her, the topics she often handles involve the kinky and the edgy. So when some of the games went naughty (with “wardrobe malfunction” on the side), Karen successfully handled it in a cute way (kudos to her).
Some of those in the poll who graced the event are Mark Herras, JC de Vera, JC Tiuseco, Fabio Ide, Jay Gonzaga, and James Martinez. Even film director Dante Nico Garcia came on stage to join them and take time to plug his newest film “Madaling Araw Mahabang Gabi” starring Angelica Panganiban, Kean Cipriano, Glaiza de Castro and other stars who are also on the poll. (Good days ahead indeed for Philippine cinema)
Overall this night is a good start to kick off the polls for the hottest young men in showbiz today. We’d be looking forward to the victory party for whoever makes it to the top.
