Condolence to his family and friends. Dolphy lived a full life. We will always remember how he brought laughter into our lives. RIP, the king of comedy!

Thank you Mang Dolphy for bringing much laughter in my generation’s growing up years. I loved “John and Marsha,” the longest running tv show and most watched ever. The weekly sitcom served as one of my family’s heartwarming and enjoyable bonding moments. When Nida Blanca passed away, Dolphy truly mourned and was greatly saddened by the tragedy. Now, my iconic idols “John and Marsha” have finally been reunited up above and I am happy with the sentimental thought. He may not have been given (yet) the National Artist title but he was, without a doubt, one of our national treasures. Isang alamat. Walang katulad. Like no other. There’s no heir to Dolphy’s throne that I can see, to date. The comedy hopefuls do not measure up to him and even a fourth of his achievements and thus they’re merely pretenders to such throne. If my present-day favorite local celebs can only emulate the late King of comedy’s brand of endearing humility, even with his superstar status, now and till the end of their careers, then surely, they’ll be headed for immortal fame just like the lovable Dolphy. Eternal rest grant unto his soul O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him, may he rest in peace. Magpahinga na kayo Mang Dolphy. Muli, maraming salamat.
Condolence po.
