Hindi na rin nakaiwas si Gerald sa mga tanong tungkol kay Sarah Geronimo. Kamakailan nga ay may mga lumabas na balitang nakakatanggap diumano si Sarah ng mga death threats dahil sa closeness na meron sila ngayon. Hindi diumano tanggap ng ilang mga fans ito. “Siyempre po napagdaanan ko na yan. Para sa akin huwag masyadong mag-dwell sa ganung klaseng threat sa ganung klaseng sitwasyon. I guess by now expected na rin kahit ayaw natin, siguro sa ngayon wala tayong magagawa.”
As for the progress of Gerald’s relationship with Sarah, the latter admitted in some of her interviews that Gerald is her inspiration these days. Gerald himself shared that Sarah is very special to him and just the thought of her when they’re not together makes him smile.
