Angelica Panganiban plays the first wife of Dingdong Dantes’ character in the 2011 MMFF movie, Segunda Mano. Here’s what she has to say about working with THe Kris Aquino whom Angelica actually copies to a T in Banana Split.
“I’m glad I got to know her better as a person, not just as Kris Aquino na sister ng president at anak ng hero,” she says. “Masaya kami sa set, it’s like we’re not working but just hanging out. Chikahan ng chikahan. Ayaw niyang napupuyat kaya at about midnight, she’d tell our director, Joyce Bernal, ‘Dali na, tara na, gusto ko nang umuwi.’ I look up to her as my Ate kasi she gives me advice like an older sister.” (source)
That’s what I like about Kris. If she likes you, she’ll really fight for you and will respect who you are. I hope she and Marian will get the opportunity to work witch each other someday too.
