Butch Francisco finally opined about the issue between Mario Bautista and Carla Abellana. It’s a pretty good and subjective article. Somehow, Marian Rivera was mentioned. Don’t worry, nothing bad at all. Just FYI, I’m not subconsciously expressing anything negative towards Carla by quoting Butch’s article here. I like and respect Carla Abellana and even though Butch’s article doesn’t paint Carla in a good way, I’m posting the part where he praised Marian coz I love me some Marian praises all the time. That just didn’t sound right, no? LOL..
This is the reason why I salute Marian Rivera. She knows how to say thank you even for the littlest nice thing you say about her.
I’ve been asked a hundred times by people outside of showbiz if she really is difficult as she was often pictured by her detractors. Oh, she definitely had bad press. Why do you think showbiz outsiders never tire asking me if she truly is quarrelsome?
My answer to that? I never experienced anything unpleasant in any of my dealings with her as in never. On the contrary, she is the most approachable and accommodating among the young showbiz stars today.
If ever she got into any fight, I suspect that she had been provoked. Maybe patience is not one of her virtues. But neither is she the type who would allow herself to be trampled on. It is her right to fight back.
My fondness for Marian began when I saw her audition for Marimar. I wrote about it and she in gratitude sent me a token with a little note. I no longer remember what was in that tiny package and what became of it, but I treasure the note that showed not only appreciation, but also respect. In return I also showered her with respect.
I can’t categorically state that we are close friends, but my respect for her will always be there.

Butch Francisco has really been respectful towards Marian, both in Startalk and in his Philstar articles. Marian was in his polite celebrities list in 2009. He shared what he knows about Marian in September 2010. A few days after that, Butch told the story about the time Marian visited the cancer patients. He also gave Marian a glowing review in her portrayal of Super Inday last December 2010 which by the way earned Marian a Best Actress nomination.
And it’s obvious that this respect and fondness from Butch is very much appreciated and being reciprocated by the Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, graciously and respectfully.

Whatever one does in life, it would be a good thing to remember that nobody gets to where they are without a little help. It’s always good to look back and see where one started and how far one has come and appreciate the help extended along the journey no matter how small. Marian shows she is a person with a grateful heart.

BTW guys sorry this is out of the topic ….but have you watched Eat Bulaga today 9/3 wherein guest sina Hibang and one mangga starlet who won in one man’s magazine poll because of the help of the 2 product companies that she indorsed? Sa tigas ng katawan pag sumayaw eh talagang parang bulateng lasing. Lol. Tigilan na sana nya ang panggagaya kay Marian. My gosh malayung malayo pa.

to tell you the truth upon reading the article of Mr. Butch, naiyak ako sa tuwa, dahil tama sya. hindi naman kailangan maging sikat ka o hindi, when you say thank you, to words of showing appreciation. and am glad that marian never forgets to say the two magic words. kahit saan, kahit kailan, laging nagpapasalamat lagi si marian. keep it up, marian glad that you were brought up with good morale character. and most of all, thanks to mr. butch for the wonderful article on marian.
